Reading Rainbow of Hope

This is the Library's entry in the Expressive Arts Faculty 'Rainbow of Hope' Competition.

rainbowofhopewithbooks

Rainbows are appearing in many windows across the country as a symbol of hope in these difficult times. Ysgol Harri Tudur Expressive Arts Faculty has organised a Rainbow of Hope Competition for the whole school community to take part in.

The design can be a collage, use computer design, paint, wax crayons, textiles, sculpture, whatever you choose and have available to you.

A photo of your entry should be sent to Mrs Owens. There will be an Art prize for the most creative.

For the Library entry, we've specially selected over 70 fantastic reads by authors for young people, and have chosen to create a collage of book covers for each of the colours of the rainbow, a Reading Rainbow of Hope. We hope you'll find hope and comfort in some of the brilliant books featured. How many have you read already? Let Mrs Smith know if you choose one or more of them to read!
